Financing solutions
With the new ‘Pay Per Use’ model for the ulrich CTmotion™ and Max3™ injector, we offer our customers a cost-transparent and flexible solution for the procurement of contrast media injectors.
We thus enable billing per examination that is directly tailored to the individual needs and patient throughput of the facilities.
TARDOC tariff system
The Swiss healthcare market is undergoing major changes and is facing further economic changes – the new TARDOC tariff system is due to be introduced in January 2026 and will cause further cost pressure.
Cost pressure
Many diagnostic institutes are already exposed to cost pressure due to inflation and other factors.
Cost transparency
There is often a lack of transparency regarding the total costs of use (TCU) of contrast media injectors – costs for purchasing, consumables and service are sometimes complex and it is difficult to maintain an overview.
Uncertainty
As a distributor of roller pump injectors, we are sometimes exposed to a great deal of scepticism from users regarding the ‘somewhat different’ technical concept of contrast medium injection using a roller pump injector.
Well-considered decisions
When switching to another injector manufacturer, you often have little or only a short opportunity to test the device – but what if you are not satisfied with the service or the device?
Innovation security
The release of new software or new hardware after international congresses surprises many – but what if you are always up to date with the latest software and can also make the decision in favour of new hardware after 24 months without any pressure?
Pay Per Use Concept – That’s why!
- We offer you an injector cost structure calculated for each individual examination – you can prepare for the TARDOC changes today.
- You can compare these values with your current cost structure as well as plan ahead for a period of 24 months
- you will be invoiced monthly or quarterly for the costs of use until the leasing contract comes to an end after 24 months
- Old software – problems with HW/SW updates? No problem – you can return the injector after 24 months and opt for a new device – so you are always up to date and have the latest device at your disposal
Based on your patient mix (number of KM examinations per device per year), we jointly calculate the price per examination – the ‘Pay Per Use’
The term of the leasing contract is 24 months – the company MDL – Medical Devices Lease SA is our financing partner, who will invoice you monthly or quarterly for the costs of the injector.

Pay Per Use – The Timeline
Who is the financing partner for the injector?
MDL – Medical Devices Lease SA is an experienced financing partner in the field of medical technology. You can find more details at:
How long does the financing contract run for?
The term is 24 months, after which you can buy the injector for a predetermined residual value and continue to use it.
What is a ‘starter kit’?
The leasing contract includes the consumables (VBM) for a certain period of time. These are sufficient for approx. 90 days and approx. 400 examinations (5 examinations per day) for the MR Max3™ injector and approx. 100 days or 700 examinations (7 examinations/day) for the CT injector CTmotion™. The number of CBMs is predefined and cannot be increased or decreased.
Can I have the starter kit delivered a few weeks after installation or on a monthly basis?
We deliver the starter kit right at the start when the device is installed. This ensures that you can start patient operation immediately after installation. Unfortunately, we cannot split the starter kit into several deliveries. However, we can provide you with a quote for storage at a charge.
What happens when the Starter Kit is used up?
Once the starter kit has been used up, you can order the consumables via our customer service at the agreed conditions. This continues until the end of the contract period.
What are the prices of the consumables after the end of the leasing contract (24 months)?
We are not yet able to answer this question. Our staff will be happy to provide you with a quote for the VBM in good time before the contract expires, ensuring that you continue to have cost transparency for every examination.
Does the ‘Pay Per Use’ cost include the consumables after the starter kit has been used up?
Yes, the equivalent costs of around CHF 35 net (Max3) and CHF 24/26 net (CTMotion BV/DV) already include the additional chargeable orders for consumables for the period after the starter kit has been used up until the end of the 24-month contract term.
I am interested in continuing the leasing contract, what do I have to do?
On the one hand, you can buy the injector for a small residual amount (see offer) and continue to use it.
On the other hand, you can conclude a new leasing contract with a new injector at the then applicable prices for the device, consumables and financing.
It is not possible to extend the leasing contract for a period longer than 24 months.
Can I get an additional discount on the device if I conclude a leasing contract?
We have already put together a very attractive package with our offer. No further discounts are possible.

Which services are included in the full maintenance contract or in the 24-month warranty?
Please refer to our service brochure for details.
I would like to return the injector before the end of the leasing contract, what do I have to do?
