Area manager in field service wanted!

As of 01.04.2025, we are looking to strengthen our sales team at the Schlieren/Zurich location with a

Area Sales Manager/German-speaking Switzerland, (full-time), Medical Technology – Sales

Your future tasks are:

  • You will be responsible for territory management in the agreed sales territory (part of German-speaking Switzerland) as well as strategic visit planning and documentation (Salesforce).
  • Optimising sales and results in the sales territory and proactive reporting are routine for you.
  • You realise the specified (short, medium and long-term) sales targets.
  • Developing sales opportunities, following them up and supporting them until the order is placed (Salesforce) will make your sales success visible.
  • You are familiar with product demonstrations at the customer’s premises or at events and are the basis for a long-term customer relationship.
  • Price negotiations with purchasing departments are also part of your job.
  • You complete your orders independently.
  • This is followed by order management, follow-up and coordination of deadlines with the customer.
  • Team play and teamwork: Participation and collaboration in field sales conferences and product training courses
  • Organisation and participation in major events, congresses (stand service) and workshops will help you to generate new leads.
  • You will be part of a 3-person sales team and a 7-person Swiss team and work closely with the internal sales, marketing, clinical application and technical service teams.
  • Rest assured, we will provide you with sufficient training on all our devices and processes.

Your qualification:

 

  • Reliability, commitment and willingness to travel are a matter of course for you.
  • German (C1-C2) and English as a second language (C2-B1)
  • Completed training in one of the following areas:
    o Medical technology,
    o Radiology technology (RT/MTR/radiology specialist (HF),
    o or healthcare (apprenticeship, university, technical college, HTL) or
    o Several years of experience in the healthcare sector or radiological environment.
  • You not only find sales interesting, you are also enthusiastic about selling high-tech medical technology, technical services and consumables.
  • You are no stranger to analytical thinking and acting.
    – Do you also have medical knowledge and a very good understanding of processes in the radiological diagnostic environment? That is important for us.
  • Good computer skills and good MS Office knowledge are also required.
  • Our customers carry out many diagnoses on patients every day, so a certain degree of stress resistance and flexibility is necessary, because sometimes things have to happen quickly.
  • Care, accuracy and a sense of order are among your strengths?
  • Basic commercial knowledge is necessary.
